<span style="font-size: large;">This is titled Puppy's Playhouse, but there's not much playing to be had inside. The see-saw is cute and offers playability and movement in the set. The other two sets in the series are static. </span><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Puppy</span></td></tr>

<span style="font-size: large;">This puppy is adorable, but the artists rendition of the puppy on the bag is far cuter. That's not really a complaint so much as an observation, I guess. It's funny the dog looks more excited to play from the side, but from the front, it just appears to be posing.</span><br />

<br /><span style="font-size: large;">Parrot's Perch has the lowest piece count of series 3, but that doesn't stop it from being a nice, small set.</span><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Bag Contents</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br /><span style="font-size: large;">When we open up the bag, there are some goodies inside. I love the fence pieces, the dark pink 2x4 slopes, and the pink bucket. The parrot and the 4x4 round light blue bricks are exclusive to the set.</span><br />
<br />

<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Completed Build</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: large;">This build really makes sense for a bird. There is a lovely bird house and a perch with the bucket of food. There really isn't a ton of playability, and I think this would be better as a display piece.</span><br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Parrot</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: large;">The bird is cute, but I think it could have benefited from more color. It doesn't read parrot to me. The upcoming 41044 Macaw’s Fountain's macaw is more what I would have expected. That set looks cool.</span><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Extra Pieces</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br /><span style="font-size: large;">There are three extra pieces, including a bow.<br /><br />I don't really know how I feel about this set. I guess it's 50/50. I like it, but there's nothing really interesting going on. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">For such a small set, we get a lot of interesting parts. Leaf pieces, a mushroom, cherries, and the fawn itself. </span><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Completed Build</span></td></tr>

<span style="font-size: large;">The build didn't take long, nor is it complex, but it is cute. I love the flowers in the trees, and the dish holding the cherries. The scene comes off as serene.</span><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Fawn</span></td></tr>

<span style="font-size: large;">The fawn is even cuter than I had originally thought. I would have liked to see some spots towards the rump a la "Bambi" but that's the only thing I have an issue with.</span><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Extra Pieces</span></td></tr>

<span style="font-size: large;">There is an extra cherry, yellow flower, pink 1x1 round plate, and a bow, which I forgot to put in the picture (oops).<br /><br />I think kids will love the fawn, and the adults will probably just want the pieces. It's a high price per piece, but having an original animal makes it worth it to me.</span>Tonihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02041084828746902487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6783357107556787046.post-15422998850600581332014-01-05T00:00:00.000-08:002014-01-05T20:38:21.339-08:00Friends: Bunny's Hutch [REVIEW]<span style="font-size: large;">Bunny's Hutch</span><span style="font-size: large;"> </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I've always wanted a real bunny, but this is as close as I'm going to get. Let's take a look at the Bunny's Hutch.</span><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />

<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwhuwuVxKuKPjXF7lzJCvaIeX5enFLtCrM3P4XQSENSwQ7Nmi_d522vCYR6o1FmvtJH9KNUi4MLfieDWDl9bva4znu7iTmlWw-1Hacw00krrBoVWmbcPl4jfAxwl99v7ZLRDwklg1BHw0/s1600/DSCN2997.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwhuwuVxKuKPjXF7lzJCvaIeX5enFLtCrM3P4XQSENSwQ7Nmi_d522vCYR6o1FmvtJH9KNUi4MLfieDWDl9bva4znu7iTmlWw-1Hacw00krrBoVWmbcPl4jfAxwl99v7ZLRDwklg1BHw0/s640/DSCN2997.JPG" height="456" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Bag Contents</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: large;">The reason I wanted this set was the brick patterned bricks, and we get six! The purple pieces are also very appealing. The tile with clips in dark tan are also rare, as they are only in two sets at the time of this post.</span><br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Completed Build</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: large;">The bunny is adorable, but I wish they had printed on the tail to give it a white cotton tail. It would have put it over the edge for me. The set has more appealing pieces than the Poodle's Palace, but the build is even more dull. There isn't much to do. </span><br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Extra Pieces</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: large;">There are six extra pieces. None of them are exciting.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">This is my least favorite of Series 2 of the animal packs. There are great pieces, but it's just a little stale. Kids will still love the bunny, but there isn't much more appeal than that.</span>Tonihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02041084828746902487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6783357107556787046.post-52368346408267087062014-01-04T00:00:00.000-08:002014-01-04T00:00:09.936-08:00Friends: Poodle's Little Palace [REVIEW]<span style="font-size: large;">Poodle's Little Palace</span><br />

<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: large;">The build is very appropriate for a poodle. There is a grooming stand, a dog dish, and a grand dog house - hence "palace" in the title. I like the window in the back of the dog house; it adds a bit of elegance.</span></span><br />
