Day 3

Day 3 is a lamp post. We get four extra pieces. I like the festive decoration. This shows some efficient parts usage in an elegant build. I can't wait to see everything all together.

City: Advent Calendar Day 2 [REVIEW]

Day 2

Opening Day 2 was very pleasant. We get a simply beautiful fireplace. It came with an extra flame and brown cheese slope. As always, I am happy with the brick patterned 1x2 bricks. For being only 9 pieces, it certainly makes an impact. You can tell immediately what it is supposed to be. Great job by the designer.

Day 2 is a snow mobile. Not super fancy but creative small build.

I originally got this set because I really wanted the dalmatian and didn't have enough money to buy the 60004 Fire Station. The more I looked at the box, the more I got excited for some of the pieces.

The play mat is pretty cool. I can't wait to see all the goodies to put on it.

DAY 1:

Day 1

Opening up Day 1 we get the first minifigure, a police officer. He came with an extra hat and an extra coffee cup.

 

Police Man

The torso has printing on both sides, which is nice. He really looks like he is wearing a vest. His legs are printed too. Look at the belt buckle and pocket. Beautifully done. This is a quality police man!

I'm a little bummed that the back of the box shows which days has what is inside. It should be a surprise!

I've never had an advent calendar before so I was unaware of the neat display mat inside. I'll be saving that for future builds!

DAY 1:

Open up!

We open up Day 1 and we get Stephanie! There is also an advertisement showing off some Friends sets.

Here's a closer look at Stephanie. Her outfit is great. This will add some variety to the Friends clothing options! The scarf and boots are a really nice touch.
